Local partnerships can be powerful collaborations in a town. The Newcastle West Lions Club sponsored our U13s to participate in the Lions Youth Football national competition. We won our first match at home to Ashling Annacotty on Friday and we are away to Ashbourne United from Co. Meath in the All Ireland quarter final next Friday the 17th in Meath. We are very grateful to the NCW Lions club for their support with this. Good luck to Andy Meehan, Kevin Barrett, Kieran Shanahan and the players and their travelling support.
