Newcastle West Town Boys U-12 A won 3-1 away to Kilcolman Rovers on Friday. Kilcolman scored after 2 minutes. Diarmuid Lyons scored with a first time shot from 30 yards distance after 20 minutes to level matters. Luke Palmer scored a brilliant individual goal 15 minutes into the second half, beating 3 players in the penalty area, and lifting the ball over the goalkeeper. Newcastle West wrapped it up, with 3 minutes to go to the end of the match, after Seán Lyons beat 4 players down the left wing, and crossed for Josh Joyce to rifle the ball home from 8 yards.
